So, for the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing bits and pieces about what you will find in Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most.
And today — it’s finally available!!
Join me on Instagram and follow along as we spend our morning scouting for the book at some local bookstores. So. Much. Fun!
It’s Finally Here! Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most
Today, I wanted to share a quick summary of the five areas covered in the book.
• Identity: In a world that stresses accomplishment and action, we must pray for our daughters to realize their value, worth, and identity are rooted in God’s love. {I wrote more on this topic here.}
• Heart: In a world that says, “Follow your heart,” our prayers for daughters whose hearts are pure and devoted to the Lord provide protection and guidance. {I shared more about this here.}
• Mind: In a world that is driven by sound bites and social media, the prayers we offer for our girls to have sound minds provide a starting point for our girls to navigate life with wisdom and discernment. {Read more about this here.}
• Relationships: In a world that is increasingly self-centered and often values relationships only in terms of personal advantage, praying for our girls to treat others with humility, wisdom, generosity, and love helps them understand how to treat others in a way that glorifies God. {I wrote about this topic here.}
• Purpose: In a world that tells our girls to live for themselves, we give them an incalculable gift when we pray for them to realize the eternal value of embracing the purpose and plan God has for their lives. {I’ll be sharing more about this next week!}
You can purchase the book at Barnes & Noble, LifeWay, Books-A-Million and also online at these retailers and Amazon. (Quick links to all of those places are right here.)

I love being a girl mom because it feels like an honor to shape and guide My daughters hearts. What a privilege To help them walk in freedom In the things THAT have held me captIve! whetHer its self worth or being EnoUgh or body image, i take these tasks as a high honor to partner witH god and pray truth over my Babies.
After having 2 boys, we were blessed with a daughter. One of my favorite things about having a girl is the special times we share together having fun doing “girly” things and talking about anything and EVERYTHING. Im thankful the Lord provides those times for her to share what’s on her heart.
My favorite is when i get to Lead My daughter and her friends through bible study together! Such a priviLege!
