What a month July has been! I’m still in shock (and maybe a little bit exhausted) from all the book launch goodness.
Praying for Girls has been the top new release in Christian Families since it’s release — and last week I got word they were doing a second printing already. Y’all, it’s amazing to me the way God is at work, drawing more and more moms into this sweet joy of praying Scripture over their girls.
As we turn the calendar to August, I’m looking forward to praying over our girls’ relationships with others. (If you haven’t gotten your August prayer calendar yet, you can get all the info here.) And, for us, August also brings the start of school.
Take the Back to School Prayer Challenge
Heading back to school always feels like a second chance to get back on track with all the plans and goals I had in January for the new year. Anyone else like that?
And, for many of us, back to school is a great time to kickstart some of those habits that have been derailed by summer. That’s why I’m inviting you to join me for a five-day Back to School Prayer Challenge.
I’ll send you an email every morning for five days (not including weekends) with a special prayer for your girl as she heads back to school. Each email will also include
- a conversation starter
- a suggested Bible story to share with her
- a printable note you can include in her backpack or lunchbox
I can’t think of a better way to get the school year started than by praying with and for our girls, can you?
Please invite your friends to sign up for the challenge too … imagine what a difference this could make in your daughter’s school!
